Accepting us as we are

Ms Susan Stork-Finlay will be speaking at the Exclusion and Embrace conference this year.  We are delighted to have her present on the topic ‘Accepting Us As We Are: Disability, Impairment and Illness Within Faith Communities and Societies’.

Ms Susan Stork-Finlay reports that one in five Australians indicate that they are living with a disability. In some faith communities and cultures, even in modern society, there is still shame and hiding of some people living with impairments.  How can we overcome this shame to acceptance in our cultures and faith communities?

If you would like to see Susan Stork-Finlay present – book your tickets now.
